I had my first twitter account 3 or 4 years ago, same with facebook. I had stopped using twitter 2 years ago.I am still using facebook.

On twitter - no comment.

On Facebook - I just don't agree that people represent a kind of "false self" in facebook. When I share what is on my mind in face book, I really tell what is on my mind without any kyeme or whatsoever. In a way, I believe I am giving my friends an idea on who I really am. Ergo, not a kind of "false self".

My point is...Long live facebook!!

Although I must say that wearing these rings in the office would be yes, an inspiration, but definitely not be comfortable in the fingers. Imagine yourself typing into your keyboards with these rings. come on! Pretty much heavy.Talking about putting colossal landmarks into your barely 1 one-pound finger.

On the other hand though, these rings might be a quick and a ginarmous stress reliever.Say somebody in your place or office is annoying you big time, all you have to do is to punch these thing or person with these rings in you finger..magic!

Kidding aside, these rings are cool but then again, its not a cool thing to wear it every working day.

I still dont have the ID needed for me to enter different parts of the company's premises where I currently work. Unfortunately, upon getting one, I was caught by 2 guards in the building and then was literally questioned and investigated.

I was tasked by HRD to go to the place near our working place to have my picture taken. And I did.

When I was on the way going back to the floor where our office is located, I was suddenly approached by 2 security guards from the entrance area and they had asked me to follow them in the basement where their sort of barracks like office is located.

Though I already knew why they were asking me to follow them, still I insisted to ask why. But then the only answer I got was " just follow us" phrase.

Consequently, I followed them in the basement 1 of the building.

I went inside their office and then when I sat down, 2 security officers looking like PSG approached me and gave me a printed version of what I did when I entered the main building going back to our office.

I saw myself on the paper looking like I was entering a narrow hole of a cave. I realized I was almost on a laid down position just to enter the badge-enabled gate (same gate in the mrt) of the building.

They told me to explain why I entered the premise without a proper permission. And so I narrated my novel like explanation. However, security officers were so tight that they called our HRD just to confirm if I am really a newly hired employee of the company.

Good thing , our HRD confirmed me. And good thing our HRD got furious to those security officers who questioned me because on the first place it was their fault why I did not get a cross-over badge to enter different premises of the bulding. Our HR told the security officers that from time to time HRD is giving an updated file of new hires on the reception area in order for them to recognize and consequently, give a cross-over badge to those listed on the file. Nevertheless, the security and the reception failed to recognize me.

In the end, the security officers were very apologetic that they had asked me what should they do to make up for the damages that they did.

I asked them to give me 1000 bucks for the damage plus an impromptu foot massage minimum of 1.5 hours.

They willingly gave me what I had asked.

And so I heard that what happened to e-heads concert was a little bit sad and partly disastrous but overall well attended.

Ely Buendia's current sitruation is not just as good as his more-glorious days, I guess.

Nonetheless, I still find e-heads and their songs so-classic Filipino hits.

It was fortunate that even without the gargantuan cigarette company as the primary sponsor for their concert, still the event became successful.

It feels like (based from rumors) million fans of e-heads and other Filipino classic hits were deprived of such genre for so many years that they need to pour in some e-heads songs to somehow quench their thirst.

I have tested it. I went to the site and tried searching my name. It gave results.

I went back again and searched for my friend's name. I realized that my friend is not as famous as I am. Thus, the second test was of lesser impact to my personal review about Cuil.

Cuil boasts it has the largest index on web which means it has more related searchable information. 3 times the index of Google?

How about relevancy?

Its good to know that the market for search engines is gradually being saturated.

During weekends, holidays, or vacant times, people want to have a secure and cool place to hang out with. Mall is a cool-enough place. But how secure are the malls in the country?

Ideally, Malls should be secured enough since from the entrance, there should be several guards who should scrutinize a person's hand carry things. And in the inside, still security checks should also be practiced.

Ironically, my experienced last July 28 was different than what it should be.

I went to a recently built Mall in Quezon city only to find out that one of the guards there had let a man who has gun inside his jacket get inside the mall without even inspecting it or without asking for an identification card.

I was in line for inspection during that time and was behind the man with a gun. When the man with a gun was about to be inspected, the man told the guard that he has a Gun inside his jacket and he said he was a policeman. Then the guard did not do anything.He just let the man get inside without even asking if the man has proof that he is really a policeman or without even checking if the man is really carrying a gun or a bazooka.

(What a .....!)

Guards in every establishment should be scrutinizing or suspicious enough especially in malls since parents with their kids often go there. What if the man who has a gun was not really a policeman after all? What if the man was a crazy person who will just shoot his gun to any person anytime?

Mall management should be strict enough to implement their rules especially when it comes to security issues.

And guards should be guarded!

In every company, I say, a vague or a business threatening information is a threat( Either for a directly or indirectly involved body).Domino effect. Seasonally uncontrollable cycle.

You are doing a project that involves a lot of processes.

Process 1 : You want to get the factors affecting your company's decision
whether to pursue or stop making business .

Process 2: You want to get your gazillion information

Process 3: You want to start making an analysis, conclusions and recommendations out of the information

And so on and so forth..

What if for all of the given processes, you missed or miscalculated something important or you got sick while doing the analysis and the company needs the accurate decision-support information? What if you have got what the company is/are looking for that will lead to the closure of the company? What if its a break-even scenario?

Effectiveness or Efficiency? Market driven?

Situations like *these might trigger gargantuan companies (especially those which produce consumer goods) to push up their prices in order to get a high margin or cope up with their costs. This then might trigger a skyrocketing of prices for consumer goods. Then wage hike. Then regulation of prices.Then Increase in the price.Then wage hike. Then regulation.Then.. again and again.

Club Balai Isabel was indeed an experience. After the outing though - back to work. Tons of workloads .Regional Managers, Directors , VPs and the ETC as a whole became thirsty for some actions. I had my work at home. Shitty but nice.

After the draining week though, I treated myself with some close-to-funky experiences (Internet, relaksasi, etc..) that led me to focus on Smart bro's prepaid wifi connection.

Initially, Smart bro's prepaid Wifi costs 4500 pesos. Its for the kit. Then it will charge users for about 10 pesos per 30 minutes.Question is - how reliable and fast is the connection?

I found some enlightening facts in this blog.

I am considering on getting myself killed with "works at home" through getting the smart bro's prepaid wifi kit.However, there is still this question on the issue of its reliability considering the fact that a lot of Smart bro's plan users are very busy bombarding forums and blogs with negative comments about the speed and services as whole of the smart bro's internet connection.

ZTE project in the country should have been pushed through. That way, free wifi connection for everybody will just going to be around the corner. And in that way, no issues for rice shortage or skyrocketing of prices for every consumer goods should have been sensationalized. And in that way, I would not have to think of the problems about taking my works at home and getting the wifi kit.

By the way, Shooter and Street kings are nice movies to watch.

Been to Boracay last month. I am tempted again to go back.

There is something in the place that makes me want to go back again and again. Is it the White sand?eenk... Is it the all night partying?eenkk... Is it the food?eennk... Is it the people?eenk...

If I'm gonna rank the reasons why I want to go back to the infamous island, I would definitely make the Place slash experiences as the top-ranked reasons. That way, I wont have to rank a second or a third reason or fourth or fifth or sixth or seventh or nth reason.

My first dinner in the place was an accidental splurging. I had ordered a Tilapia, instead of ordering the eat-all-you-can seafood ( Crabs, shrimps, oysters plus porkshcops, chickens, unlimited rice etc). Surprise! When the bill came, the price of tilapia was 100 percent more than of what I should have had paid. And what pissed me off more was the fact that the restaurant was not accepting mastercard or visa card.

After the heavy feeling though, I went back to the resto the day after and took the eat-all-you-can promo. I had a revenge. I ate it all. Piece of cake.

Then came the burning experience.

Then the sand warming experience

Then the Monkey and the Dolphin experience

Need I say more? I have decided. I cant wait to see Club Balai Isabel in Batangas!

I was literally flooded by a river of numbers and symbols. As I was having my training, I realized that I am a masochist. I am a Masochist for having the drive to suck up huge amount of information and finding some correlations within without actually whining or getting irritated.

I've moved. Another work.

This time workloads are focused on forecasting and planning. Tons of people to work with ( in the work place). Majority are engineers. I directly work though to the VP of Marketing and Business development.

First day after the the new employment training, I was bombarded with gazillion of Information. I would not say it was an Information overload. It was just overwhelming (lolz). Take a glimpse of what I was introduced with:

Professionally speaking, I would say I'm half happy with what's happening in my life right now . Half happy because I always land with the job that I like.However, with my current job, I still have a lot of things to experience or go through again.

My "another race" has just begun. My assurance of having complete happiness in this " another race" is still unknown for now. But I am hoping for the best.

This leads me to what my friend have told me about the speed of light.

Janet Toral is such an amazing blogger. On the first note, she just made the Top ten most influencial blog for 2007 successful. In fact, some of my friends went to the grand eyeball and awarding of the said event. Now she's doing another great project which is the Filipina Writing project.

Filipinas outnumber Filipinos in terms of population in the country and that is a fact. But what is ironic is that majority of the top decision-making positions in the corporate and government arena in the country are being taken by Filipinos. Truly, Janet Toral's Filipina writing project is another way to empower more women to strive and get away from the classic norms that the Philippine society had made for them.

This World's thinnest smart Phone will probably make you full with its whopping features. WiFi, podcast options and RSS reader will just going to be appetizers. More mouth-watering entree here.

For the sake of promoting The Simpsons movie, which took 18 years in the making, 7-11 actually changed some of its stores' name into Kwik-E-marts... and so does some of its products.

Trivia: Kwik-E-Mart is a fictional convenience store in the Simpsons which is owned by Apu Nahasapeemapetilon.

Its a good marketing strategy for the Simpsons movie, though, since 7-11 stores are like mushrooms which boom anywhere. The company has more than 25,000 franchised stores scattered world wide. And in the US and Canada alone, there over a thousand 7-11 stores that cater to more than 6 million customers 24/7.

So imagine how many people would actually know that the Simpsons movie would come to existence and imagine how many of these people who buy regularly in 7-11 would be watching it.

Recently, two of our Colleagues (Boss) from New York went here in the country to visit the Philippine team (Code name: Literatis). Fortunately, every time Rick and Dave visit us, they always find time to mingle with us like eating out together or going out after office hours. For two days now, the agent at a certain telecommunication company incessantly calls my antique mobile phone (which is ready to be displayed in a museum) encouraging me to get hooked up with their line. By then, I realized that I should make some notes on the pros and cons of getting a mobile phone line in order for me to decide whether to make a deal or noodle (courtesy of Manny Pacquiao).And I came up with this:

Pros

1. Free calls and text messages
2. No hassle on credit loading
3. Free Phone ( a high end one)

Cons

1. Additional monthly bill
2. Higher risk of phone snatching
3. Lesser number to text, since most of my friends use other telecom company's SIM card.

And my final verdict..

I am still undecided. I have to consult first.

DOTA Invasion

Harvard's DOTA players from Kotaku

Blizzard's DOTA (Defense of the Ancients) has gone too far in invading fellow RPG fanatics. It went far up to Harvard. And now that it released its newest map which is 6.44b, it is guaranteed that many would be more hooked up with the game since additional heroes and items await.

Moreover, I have tried Lanaya the Templar Assassin as one of the new heroes of DOTA 6.44b map and her abilities are so great. And to further boost Lanayas's abilities, I have added some items which include: vanguard and power treads for defense in the early game and Desolat0r or Buriza for additional damage in the late game.

FYI: Blizzard's WoW ( world of warcraft) is now the number one MMORPG ( massively multiplayer online role playing game) in the eastern part of the globe when it comes to number of subscribers and is in place in the western part.

MRT galore

For all I know, MRT is losing a lot of money due to indebtedness and excessive use of energy and can not cope up even if millions of pesos are put in in their money machine everyday (since Debt > profit).

It is fascinating though that this morning they had their free ride galore for everybody. Was it a sign or strategy that MRT would now increase its minimum fare? or it was just that its ticketing system was down that was why they had this "free ride" this morning? Or it was just because today is Independence day that was why they had this special something?

The internet is all about collaborations, and taking a good idea and mold it into a better one. A few weeks ago, Andy Coates, a new blogger started a link building program he called viralinks. So far it has been quite successful with many bloggers getting into the chain to help each other build links.

As nice as it is, however, there is a downside to that chain. It uses no anchor text, but only a * in its place. Andy had mentioned that he tried something else that was similar, but bloggers were slow to ping back (or not at all) with an anchor text. So the stars were used instead. I must admit that I am always thrilled whenever I think about Ivy league and the Colleges and Universities included on it (plus class valedictorians and all). But this one, thrilled me more. A Filipino taking commencement address at Harvard Law school.

Wow. I have this notion or actually its a fact that whenever a person takes the lead in giving commencement address during graduation ceremony, that person is the Class Valedictorian. Thus, makes that person , indeed, a great person especially in his endeavors.

I have been busy looking up on the sales of the Gap Inc. these past few weeks. Unfortunately, its sales and profit continue to slide down (as per Google Finance). Sales from its subsidiaries like Banana Republic, old navy, among others, are distressingly evaporating. Nonetheless, I have this strong instinct that The Gap Inc. would gradually offset its loss of sales profit because the new Executive VP of Design for Gap Adult and GapBody would now be in the helm. Its Patrick Robinson, the new EVP of Gap Inc.- the former Artistic Director at Paco Rabanne in Paris, the former Senior Designer of Perry Ellis and Ann Klein and the former Design Director at Le Collezioni White Label by Giorgio Armani.

Disclosure: I do not own any share/stocks of the company mentioned above. All the things that I have mentioned above were based on my personal observations.

Meanwhile, somebody please try this one out! I wont tell you what it does. But I guarantee you its good.

I just watched a news which was aired in the middle of the day (guess what) and I saw Senator wannabe- Trillanes and Justice Secretary Gonzales complementing each other through giving crispy adjectives among themselves.

Gonzales: Trillanes is too immature to become Senator. I'd rather choose Honasan.

Trillanes: I think Gonzales should undergo psychological examination. He is becoming a threat to his department. He is Psychologically unstable.

Gonzales: See, how he reacts. Really Immature.

**Its really good that they did the complementary statements among themeselves in front of millions of people. iPhone vs. iPod?

I know. I am an iPhone fanatic too. And so as Apple Inc's products. However, its hard for me to ignore the effects of iPhone on iPod sales. Here's a nice post on the issue. Here's another one.

Nevertheless, I know Apple would definitely know what it would do to its products. The only thing that (maybe) would make them a little bit shaky would be predicting consumer's expectations and emotions with regards to the strategy that they would make to its products.

Can't wait to see the real iPhone in the market!

How many times do you burp in a day?

I had more than a hundred these past few days. And as of the moment (When I started writing this post) I have been burping over a 120 times. I counted.

Its really irritating. Worse than the politics.

I actually did not vote. I feel like if I am going to vote, I would just put devils on the Government.Senatorial candidates and all of those candidates at the local levels are evils (light or hardcore) but are necessary (though).

Necessary evil like when I had watched 28 weeks later. The troops in the movie need not to kill all the people in the safe area for the reason that only one had the raging virus. But since for security purposes, they actually had this operation red code which means that kill all the living organisms that had got close to the one who had the virus.

The story of the movie is a little bit tragic and frustrating, nonetheless, its entertaining.

Like necessary evils, it actually has different effects. Its destructive. And at times its constructive.

I am not saying though that burping is balanced in terms of its good and bad effects. Its satisfying when I burp. But burping hundred times is very annoying.

I would rather have an earthshaking fart.

Weekend Itenerary

Saturday:

1. My sibling stayed in my place for a night(Friday) in order for us to welcome our parents.

2. My parents drove all the way from the province to go to the place where I currently reside just to scold me and remind me how messy my place is. Nonetheless, at least I was reminded. No. Actually they went in the metro to attend the Despedida of our Uncle and to see the recently acquired home of our uncle at Cottonwoods Village Antipolo.

3. My parents just dropped by at my place for just an hour and went directly to Antipolo.

4. I cleaned my place after.

5. My sibling went back to her dorm at Diliman.

6. At around 8pm, my sib sent me a message about going to our uncle's place.

Sunday:

1. At 10am, we were fetched by our uncle at a nearby mall.Surprisingly my cousin and nephews were with my uncle.

2. Next pit stop was at Manila Memorial to visit our peacefully resting aunt.

3. At lunch, we ate at Jollibee!!!!And again I was surprised because our other cousins were at Jollibee too!!!! hahahaha

4. Our group was divided into two after lunch. The other half went directly to Antipolo. Our group went to see the apartments of our Cousin which are for lease. My father, suggested to occupy one of the rooms for his reasons that: 1. It is more Cozy 2. It will be much cheaper. 3. It will going to be nearer to the place where I work.

5. After the tour, we went to our uncle's place.

6. We Had a movie marathon up to 6pm.

7. Dinner was served after. And I got bloated with different foods. I particularly like the combination of Ice cream and beer.

8. After dinner, picture taking was done.Its just sad that my other cousins were not around for the picture taking. Dhang went to Galera. Ate joyce went for a European tour with his husband.Nonetheless, the event still went well.

9. After the picture taking, we were brought back to our places at the metro.

10.I immediately slept after.

Lesson learned: Clean your place every now and then and do not eat too much ice cream while drinking soft drinks and a beer. Constipation might be triggered.

Fundamental and Technical

Do not worry. This won't induce nose bleeding.

I was kinda doubtful about how technicians(aka technical analysts) predict the stock prices and investor's emotion by just using charting techniques.

Projecting the prices and tracing the price trends based on ratio-to-moving average method or through a specific regression process and based on by volume traded would be more reliable since real data are being utilize in those manners. However, Using charting techniques such as just looking at the, say for instance, a head-and-shoulder figure trend on a specific time period in a graph or just looking for a neckline figure would be, personally, ridiculous in projecting stock prices.(Try looking a head and shoulder figure on the graph below and project the price for the next 5 quarters)

In my own belief, the best way to project the price is to combine Fundamental analysis with technical analysis-- which is using some external factors aside from prices (e.g., political, supply, demand, etc.) and using some techniques such as computing for the Solvency and liquidity of a certain company you want to price-project.

However, I am still intrigued on how technicians become a million dollar men in an instant by just merely saying that they used charting techniques in predicting or projecting a specific stock price.

Well, I guess they are just lucky or better yet afraid of saying that they had used fundamental analysis since their job title (as a technical analyst) might be affected.

I left the city last Maundy Thursday and came back 8 days after. Although the temperature in the province was grueling hot, still I had a heck of a vacation!

Aside from going out from time to time with my old friends and spending some quality time with my family, I also did watch and criticize movies worth watching .Here are the lists of movies that I had watched (in random order):

Pan's labyrinth - Spoken in Spanish language. Indeed, a highly imaginative movie!

Stranger than fiction - A story within a story within a story. Smart movie!

Rocky Balboa - Boksing (In english, Boxing).

Little Miss Sunshine - drama, Action, problem solving of a family's problems happened in a few days ride going to california .A story of a typical American Family.

Saw 3 - Bloody! More imaginative and gory contraptions.

Borat - I was intrigued with the national anthem of Kazakhstan.Enormous cultural differences between Kazakhstan and USA were very prominent.

Smokin Aces - Smokin'!. Somehow the movie exudes some hilarious flicks.

The Good Shepherd - 1950's-60's.

Apocalypto - The gruesome scenes were good. But the story is a little bit shallow.

The fountain - the tree of life.Love story.

Grey's Anatomy (all new episodes) - This is not a movie. Nonetheless, episodes in series are actually fun to watch (real drama in the hospital and in real life). Anyways, These are the things that happened after watching 11 episodes.

** Dr. Izzie became millionaire because of saving the life of a patient who later on became her fiance (who unfortunately died)and decided to go back to Seattle grace hospital.
** Dr.Cristina Yang, became so protective that instead of protecting, she became very destructing.
** Dr. Greg's father almost died and he did not choose Dr. Burke as his father's surgeon.
** Dr. Burke almost got the Chief surgeon position, but because of Dr. Cristina and Burke's ailment at right hand, promotion was stopped.
** Dr. Alex Karev Fucked a cancer patient and almost fell in love with the ex-wife of Dr. Derek
** Dr. Addison Shepherd resisted to live with Dr. Sloane because Dr. Sloane is a slut (male version)
** Dr. Sloane continued to be become male slut and continued abusing his power over the interns.
** Dr. Derek Shepherd won the heart of Dr. Grey after a close race with a contemporary doctor who happens to like Dr. Grey too. However, Dr. Shepherd is having a hard time sleeping with Dr. Grey because Dr. Grey snores so loud.
** Dr. Grey continued supporting her best friend Dr. Cristina even if Cristina was asking Dr. Grey to stopped defending and supporting her.
**Dr. Miranda Bailey Still accepted Dr. Izzie as one of her interns but with some more strict rules. No say, No touch policy!
** Dr. Webber was disappointed with Dr. Burke because he already wants to retire and he wants to pass His throne to Dr. Burke.

Beefy Week

I just realized a couple of hours (2am) ago when I got home and bought a burger that --I have not missed any day this week without eating beef on my daily eating habit.

Last Sunday (03.11.07) when I had this fever, I started craving for a beefy meal. So what I did was to go on the nearest tokyotokyo restaurant to eat some beef misono stuff for my lunch.

On the following day,which was Monday, I was eating beef misono, again at tokyotokyo for my lunch.

On tuesday, I ate a Tapsi for my breakfast at a certain foodstall near the building where I am working.

Last wednesday, I ate beef misono for my dinner again at tokyotokyo.

Last thursday, again I ate beef misono at tokyotokyo for my dinner.

Last friday (actually, dawn of saturday), I ate a hamburger after going from Xaymaca.

And today, I ate beef misono at tokyotokyo for my lunch.And while doing this post, I am actually munching a burger which I bought at a foodstall in the mall.

I am still planning to have a beef for my sunday meal.

Hail to the beef! hail to the cattle industry!

By the way, Manny Pacquiao announced again that he would beef-up just to have seat in the congress. A beefy idea Indeed!

As have notified, tuition fee increase for one of the premier state university in the country would have to be implemented. I suspect, this scenario would have gargantuan effects not only for ongoing and incoming UP students, rather for the whole state/private colleges/universities all over the country.Possible effects on the economy might also be seen.

First, increase in the tuition fee of UP might trigger the increase of tuition fees of other state/private colleges/Universities. This is because School standards issues are at stake and everybody wants to have high standards.Or other schools/universities might just take advantage of the fact that,like UP, they also want to have a possible improved facilities even if its not really necessary. Who are at the loosing end?

Second, increase in the tuition fee of UP might contribute a significant figure to the increasing unemployment rate in the country. This is because UP, although diverse, majority of UP students belong to below poverty threshold level social stratification. Thus, ongoing and incoming students who are going to be affected with the increase and who are competitive might stop schooling because of the scenario. What will happen to these students?

Third, increase in tuition fee of UP might lead to the demoralization of supposedly incoming students to choose UP as a possible avenue for higher education. Thus, might lead "supposedly incoming students" to choose private universities which are at Par with UP standards.What will happen then to UP?

Solutions? I believe, as one of the desperate out-of-the-box moves, UP should ask for tie-ups to private entities for a possible sponsorships on its projects and researches so as to lessen the burden of incoming UP students who are indeed carrying a greater weight in the UP tuition fee increase. This out-of-the box solution however, might lessen the image of UP as a state or partly government owned university.

The Nintendo Wii Experience

When I got into our office this morning, rick was discussing about Nintendo Wii. After a few minutes we went for a Wii Experience. We played Tennis!. Indeed, an experience!

I thought it will going to be hard playing the Wii because the controller is wireless and might not read our body movements. Also, since I was really used to playing PC games (i.e.DOTA-Warcraft and all) that was why I got a little bit doubtful if Wii would really work for me. However, I was wrong.The controller was sensitive enough .It really converts movement. And playing it was as easy as counting one, two, three. However, it will really use up your energy. It was like playing a real tennis with your racket lesser in weight.

And the moment of truth: I won the race to 5 challenge. 3-0 (Haha!). And because of that, I really have to work hard for our assignment for today. We are loaded. Its time to extract some of our Retailing and Real Estate knowledge.

Idiot's Guide -- For Voting

As we have known for the longest time, we are still living in a third world country. And I believe , one of the biggest factors that contribute to the sluggish movement of our country in gaining total independence (i.e., Self-sufficient in all aspects)is the high corruption rate from our idols, tols or whatever you want to call them-Our Politicians. Now, in order to stop this everyday doom's day experience that we are having in our country, we need to cull some personalities who want to have a seat in the government in this coming election. How? Here's mine:

1. Ignorance is bliss, but for a person who possesses this quality especially in politics should be immediately dumped.
2. I will not give mercy for obvious Idiots
3. It is not considerable if He/she does not have any experience in management
4. I will not vote for A fickle minded person
5. It is guaranteed that I will not vote for a person who is obviously corrupt
6. I will not pick for a person who can not even make a plan/platforms.
7. I will drop a person immediately from my list if he/she just sings and dances during campaigns.
8. It will be unacceptable for me if the person does not even know what a law or constitution is.
9. A kind or obedient person who is not educated enough will be culled.
10.Political cronies - definite NO for me.

Nintendo Wii

Rick just recently got back from New York for our another training. Fortunately he brought with him a Nintendo Wii . The Wii, as they say, is for our team. I guess It will be use to detoxify us from time to time. Or I suspect in order for us to produce more best results from our work, a Nintendo wii time maybe twice or even thrice a day would definitely be needed (And it is!). Its really a great idea.

**Nintendo Wii boosted the stock price of Nintendo Company and dumped the sales of PS3 and other game consoles. And as of the moment, Supply of Nintendo Wii in the US and even in the world market is in Shortage. Many Nintendo fanatics are dying to have one. I guess we are lucky enough.

Last time I had posted on my other blog site about the Gig that my friends/officemates organized. The gig was really awesome!.Hands down on it! The place(Sensation Bar, Makati) complemented well on the genre of music that bands had played. The place was dark and really cozy. It is ,indeed, conducive for somebody who wants to relax. The kinds of music that were played ( as I perceived) were like fusions of ethnic, rock, reggae and trance. Valentine's day

I had noticed that many people, especially women, were holding flowers when I was on the road going to our office. I almost forgot that its Valentine's day. What's so special about Valentine's day anyway? What is the difference of this day to other days. I mean, aside from the fact that today is the so-called valentine's day.I do not get the point. Or maybe, other people are just soooo in loooooveeeee (uckkkkk) that is why I am having a hard time relating and understanding.

For the meantime, I have to finish my work. The Dead line for these tickers is tomorrow. And FYI, Prudential financial has a lot of connections and so as Walgreens Co.

My Note on Exxon Mobil

Exxon Mobil's stock price just had its crash after some business and political factors. Consequently, I have noted some words to ponder about some things that one way or another related to Exxon. Here it is:

Environmental issues and politics greatly affect a business. These issues ruin the reputation of a business entity and might prolong a bureaucratic agony (i.e., if some legal issues arose from a company) . As a long term repercussion, investors or future shareholders might have a negative expectations thus, might make them pull out shares and not invest indefinitely. Apparently, Exxon Mobil is partly becoming one of the victims of such issues. Thus, to prevent such occurrences, a solid project that would both satisfy the environment and politics should immediately be done.

Manny Pacquiao has finally decided on what position should he run to in this coming election. After telling to the public that he is going to run for Mayoralty, he finally decided that a seat in the Congress would be better for him and for his people. Thus, making me muse about his qualifications and Motives and reasons why should he be voted for being a Congressman .Here are some of the thoughts that i have gathered while musing on why Manny Pacquiao Should be voted (in random order):

2. He has been trained in boxing arena for over 15 years.
3. He won in his last fight with Morales
4. He is a product endorser.
5. He has an Album.
6. He has a mansion at Gen. San.
7. He won Millions of Dollars over his last fight.

10.He wants to work over a law which has these contents-- " trabaho muna, walang away-away and education" (as per 24 oras-GMA 7).

4G : A newer version of 3G.

I was amazed and at the same time disheartened when I have heard that a newer technology would soon arise from the mobile industry market. Its the 4G. I have not still experienced the benefits of 3G technology and yet another communications technology innovation would soon dominate (again) the mobile phone market.

Nonetheless, I am glad that my phone has only basic communications features. Thus, not making me want to say "@#CK #$IT!"

However, I am still craving for iPhone and LG shine.

Richard Gomez : For Senator?

The night before yesterday I have watched the Palaban TV show at GMA 7. Their topics, I must say, are little bit hot and very contemporary. And the topic that brought out the feeling like when I have watched those people dancing boomtarattarat ( its a weird feeling-mixture of hate and laughter, anger and sort of I-want-to-smash-somebody's-head feeling) was the topic about Richard Gomez's credentials and platforms for Senatorial election.

When Mareng Winnie asked about aside from being a good looking guy, what other characteristics of Richard Gomez that would make him a very credible senator, Richard Gomez replied "My heart belongs to senate". Ok that answer was really very very mind bugling .It would really make him a Great Senator.

Another thing that really caught my attention was when Mareng Winnie Asked about his platforms as a Senatorial candidate. He replied he wants to help the Philippine education system.He wants to have a nation wide toothbrush campaign for students. Ok first things first. How will a person help or even provide a solution to the core problem of Philippine education system through nation wide toothbrush campaign? Instead of dealing with classroom renovations or classroom building, Instead of providing books to students at elementary level, instead of giving more budgets to state colleges and universities, Mr. Gomez wants a toothbrush campaign--Indeed, a very very brilliant idea.

Lesson learned: when watching a TV show with such topics and with such personalties, immediately skip the show and just watch cartoons at cartoon network. Or maybe ask a help from your siblings or any person from your place to tickle you before you watch such show. In that way, laughing out your internal organs will be prevented.

Babel

I've watched Babel 3 times only to prove that Jessica Zafra's review is really correct. Of course, i had watched it twice before the review came out. And i had found out that the review was very intelligent and interesting especially the one which is not really agreeable for me.

She said that "It’s supposed to be about how we are all connected, but all it says to me is, “Don’t go to Morocco, don’t go to Mexico, and watch out for them nasty Japanese schoolgirls!” I wanted to hurl my cellphone at the screen". I actually find it weird for her broadcasting this comment over the cyberspace coz the movie (filmmakers) is not really that harsh when it comes to countries and people who are involved in the movie. The story actually just revolved around a) on who owns the gun that made a tourist in Morocco be shot by juveniles (an extremely isolated case), b) and the Mexican nanny who brought her employers' (The tourist who got shot) kids with her going to Mexico.

The movie actually did not tell or portray meanfully any situation that will prove that the specific comment of JZ is correct.

* o well, thats life. Everybody has something to say. I am glad i have.

Do you have an iPod? how about Apple mac?..Aha..well Apple company, the producer of iPod and Apple mac has produced another brilliant invention that is a revolutionary in the mobile phone industry..terrrrrrrren....presenting the iPHONE!!!!!!

Rants about iPhone started last year. And believe it or not these rants actually made the stock price of Apple rose in to a certain percentage. Not a sale, not an import or export, its just a rant and it really made the stock price of Apple skyrocket.

Enough of the stock prices! Apple's iPhone is an all-in-one phone that is why its a revolutionary phone. It somehow bridges the gap between the Music player and a cellphone. So imagine an iPod in a Cell phone...Here are some of the lists of exciting features of iPhone:

1. Its a widescreen iPod. Yes you got it right! It has a 3.5 inch widescreen for better viewing on videos/movies, and for better scrolling your favorite music. Aside from its huge screen, it has also 2 megapixel camera to better appreciate the picture that you'll capture on the phone.

2. Surf the net directly from iPhone! And this is what I like about this phone. You dont have to use the GPRS mode or go to the site of mobile service company to search the web coz it has a built in Google and yahoo search.And aside from OSx as its OS, Its also a multi-tasking phone. Like a PC, you can download your music or picture while reading your emails.

3. Its a touch screen phone. Now you wont have to worry about hard keypads or lost stylus pen coz the iPhone offers a multi touch screen system (just touch) to browse the net in the easiest manner or to search or dial ur friend in the most convenient way.High tech!

4.It has a huge memory capacity.Here in the Philippines, so far 2g to 4G is the highest memory capacity of a phone. But in iPhone its actually a whopping 8G.So you wont have to worry about erasing a file because your goignt to reach the memeory limit on your phone. In iPhone youll have a chance to download upto 5000 to 6000 songs of your choice.

There you go guys..Actually, there a lot more good features of iPhone that i have not mentioned and that have not been mentioned by Apple company. I guess its Apple's strategy to make people buzz more of its product before its first release in the US market in June 2007.

They are actually targeting to sell 10M units after its initial release. And I bet Apple's marketing strategy to reach its goal is to drool people by making some mystery effects on its iPhone. And apparently, many Apple products fanatics are alrady craving for the phone. Many ohter-products-users are also getting excited to get the Apple's iPhone. So, Apple is actually gradually realizing the effects of its planned startegy.

By the way, its sad to say that the release of iPhone in the asia pacific region is on the 1st quarter of 2008.Sad. And The price of iPhone is alittle bit high. Its $499 for 4G memory and $599 for 8G memory. So if youll goign to convert it in peso, it will be approximately P30000. (originally posted at my older blog)
